Pee Wee's Oyster Bar 1978

Pee Wee's was a hole in the wall place in St Andrews, Panama City Florida.
I loved raw oysters, until after one fateful visit to Pee Wee's - It could of been the Horse Radish sauce, but it was the sickest 24 hours of my life.

WOW do you remember any of the people that worked there? Lets see around that time my mother worked for Peewee Maddox and I stayed in the back room while my momma worked.I loved eating them oysters!

On a Saturday morning in the winter of 73 after a rough night out on the Beach I ate 5 or 6 dozen of the finest East Point oysters at PeeWee's at the ungodly price of 70cents a dozen. That was with sauce, crackers and lemon. My sister who still lives up there says Hunts gets $9.00 a doz. Last night.

I shot pool at PeeWee’s a lot and I remember the shucker had part of his ear missing where a drunk customer bit part of it off. Great memories.

We knocked out 32 dozen one night along with 3 lbs of boiled shrimp and a couple of cases of bud sizers we were no wiser . Woke up next morning passed out on beach in the wilderness of the sand dunes gnats eating us alive where Seaside is now ! Good old days ! 70 years old now ! Loved every second of it all ! The guy that’s ear was bit off was Burt . He said a shark bit it off . 😂
